Mark Massel studied Physics at Leicester University where he achieved an Honours Degree. He then went on to do a postgraduate diploma in electronics and computer technology at the polytechnic of West London.

Mark then went on to design high speed imaging electronics for various companies and applications. More recently, and for the past seven years, he has been working for STMircoelectronics in the consumer products group as technical marketing manager on DVD related products for the Asia Pacific region. His experience at ST covers all areas of digital satellite set top box, digital terrestrial set top box and DVD technology.
